Overview
Enjoy a fall day in the footsteps of America’s Turning Point victory at Saratoga. Revolutionary-era soldiers return to Saratoga’s Fort Hardy Park, the original “Field of Grounded Arms” in 1777. This is free beautiful fall family fun! See Continental and British soldiers encamped, firing their muskets and conducting drills with kids. The 2nd Continental Artillery will demonstrate powerful cannon firing. Civilian living historians will be present cooking and healing demos, as well as host 18th century toys & games for kids. All in proximity to national historic sites, restaurants, and apple orchards.
